Rhythmic Gymnast Son Yeon Jae Sets Personal Best Record in Finland

Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae won a silver medal in the individual all-around at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Espoo, Finland on Saturday with a total score of 73.550, just 0.2 points behind Aleksandra Soldatova of Russia.
Son's score broke the personal best of 72.964 points she set just a week ago at the Grand Prix Moscow. In apparatus competitions on Sunday, Son set a new personal best of 18.450 points to win her first gold medal at a World Cup event since April 2014 in Lisbon.
She added a silver medal in ribbon and a bronze in hoop, but finished seventh in clubs after dropping one of her clubs.The current top two rhythmic gymnasts, Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun of Russia, did not compete in Espoo this time.
