Emmy Award/Grammy Foundation Award winning producer SEVEN_12, aka Ben Parris, (from Joombas Music Group) released his first solo project, pROTOTYPE aLPHA, a full length album of impressive compositions that often blend various musical genres into one song. Bringing genres like EDM, Jazz, and Hip Hop together, SEVEN_12’s first project is unlike any album before. The album consists of 12 songs, each unique in style, tempo, and tone from the others in the album, but all equally as addicting to listen to.

Although you may not have heard of SEVEN_12 yet, he has extensive experience in the industry and has proven his talents many times before. Starting with drumming when he was two years old, Ben Parris was already touring with artists like Fred Norman, Steve Gadd, and Tony Levin by the age of thirteen! He went on to study at University, then secured a position at The Studios at Linden Oaks, one of the best recording facilities in the country. There he worked on projects for brands like James Taylor, Flo Rida, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Robin Thicke, Missy Elliot, HBO, General Motors and more.

But his talents pushed him to do more and with some experimentation in the studio he discovered a passion for creating compositions that blended his personal musical preferences, such as EDM, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, and live instrument performance. This led him to create his first solo project that brings his years of experience and passion to life, taking the listener on this journey with him.

With performances at SXSW, Flash Factory, and K-Town Night Market, working with artists like DEAN, he has shown his talents on stage and pumped up crowds of fans having fun. His crazy fast drumming and smooth DJ-ing makes his performances a must see for anyone wanting to listen to some great music.

This is only SEVEN_12's first album so we can expect even more greatness to come! You can purchase SEVEN_12's newest album on iTunes here, and in the meantime, check out a snippet of his performance at this year's Ktown Night Market below, here on Koogle TV!
