Samsung to Invest $46 Billion US in 2015

The Samsung Group plans to invest around US$46 billion this year in facilities and research and development. A Samsung spokesman on Wednesday said this year's amount is similar to what the group spent last year.
Samsung Electronics, the flagship company, will spend about $22 billion on its three main sectors -- memory chips, displays and mobile gadgets. According to marketing analysts, Samsung has been steadily increasing its investment from about $39 billion since 2011.
