SBS Drama “Six Flying Dragons” Finale Tops Viewer Ratings

SBS’ period drama “Six Flying Dragons” ended its six-month broadcast on Tuesday by beating its competitors in viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea’s report on Wednesday, its last episode had viewership of 17.3 percent, 1.2 percent higher than the previous episode aired on Monday.
The drama was centered on the third king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Taejong whose name was Lee Bang-won, played by Yoo Ah-in. The end of the season featured the death of his fictitious lover, Boon-yi, played by actress Shin Se-kyung.
MBC’s drama “Glorious Temptation” had viewership ratings of 12.4 percent, while KBS 2TV’s “Baby Sitter” had 3.5 percent.
A new historical drama “Daebak” will start airing on Monday. It stars actor Jang Keun-suk and Yeo Jin-goo.
