On the November 22nd episode of MBC's 'Section TV', a segment discussing stars who have good looks as well as talent in acting called for a mention of miss A's Suzy! It was revealed that the idol star had debuted as an actress only due to the request of her agency.

It was reported that Suzy's agency, JYP Entertainment, had strongly insisted that the girl group member start acting, although she was initially against the idea. Suzy had no intentions of acting, but tried her hand at film because of her agency, proceeding to act in her first role in 'Dream High'.

Although Suzy is considered to be one of the best idol actresses now, it wasn't always this way for the starlet. When Suzy first appeared in 'Dream High', many viewers criticized the miss A member, noting her amateur acting skills. However, due to negative comments, Suzy was determined to be recognized as an actress, forcing herself to hone her skills in acting.

It looks like all that hard work eventually paid off as she widely gained reconition for her role in 'Architecture 101', even earning her the nickname 'Nation's First Love'! Suzy most recently wrapped up filming for the film 'Dorihwaga', which is set to premiere this month.
