On March 12th, Joongang Ilbo reported the decrease of customers in Seungri's ramen chain 'Aori Ramen'. The company had visited its branch in Hongdae (managed by Seungri's father) during lunch hour (12PM KST) and recorded only three spots filled during the duration of their visit. Additionally, they reported that none of the customers were Korean, all of them being tourists.
The Gwanghwamun branch reported even slower business, only having filled 15 spots out of 20 during lunch hour. While the numbers do seem to be not that bad, it proves to be a decrease when considering the time and location of the restaurant. An employee of the branch had commented on the decline of customers: "There's usually a waiting line during lunch hours, but there's been no waiting line recently."
