On the first episode of ‘Show Me the Money 5’, rapper Simon Dominic, better known as Simon D, addressed the inevitable – his past words stating that he didn’t need to/wouldn’t ever join ‘Show Me the Money’. The inconsistency in his words and his actions have rubbed some netizens the wrong way, as they’ve pointed fingers at the rapper for not sticking true to what he said in the past.

Prior to his casting on ‘Show Me the Money 5’, Simon D had said on stage once that he would “never go on ‘Show Me the Money’” and that he “earn[s] money well without doing something like that”. However, after being cast as part of the panel of producers, people were quick to bring up his previous statement.

Regarding the matter, Simon D nonchalantly stated, “Currently I live and eat well by my own standards. What do you want me to do? It doesn’t bother me.”

True, people's minds can change if they want!
