Singer JOO has just left JYP Entertainment after her contract with the agency expired.

It has been some time since JOO has released anything, and a representative from JYP Entertainment announced that she hasn't signed a contract with another agency yet. On January 20th, JYP Entertainment commented, "JOO's exclusive contract finished last week. It was the right choice for both of us. We discussed what's best for JOO's future, and the contract was ended on good terms." The representative went on to add that she is currently looking to sign with another label.

JOO became tied to J.Y. Park and JYP Entertainment after appearing on SBS' "Superstar Survival" show in 2006, and made her debut with the release of "Because of a Man" in 2008. Since then, she has been the voice behind OST's for "Cinderella's Sister" and "The Secret Garden", and made appearances in the drama "Dream High" and the musicals "Catch Me If You Can" and "Full House".
