Fans were already aware that TVXQ's Yunho would be getting enlisted soon, but it always hurts when it is confirmed by a statement from the agency. SM Entertainment is preparing their fans for some sad goodbyes that are sure to come, announcing that the idol was set on enlisting this year to be an active duty soldier.

TVXQ recently shed a few tears at their concert held in the Tokyo Dome, letting their fans know, "Although we can't hold concert tours for a while, we promise to come back," dropping hints that group activities will most likely be placed on hold for a while.

When asked what they meant when they said that, SM Entertainment explained, "It's true Yunho is planned to enlist as an active duty soldier this year, but the specific time period has not yet been decided on... As he does have to go this year when looking at his age, it seems that's why he said that at the concert. Timing wise, it was their last Japan tour before enlistment."

It seems like many idols and actors will be going off to the military this year. We had already bid our goodbyes to Sungmin, Shindong, Jaejoong, and Choi Jin Hyuk, but more names like Yunho are bound to be added to the list as the year progresses.
