Many fans noticed an immediate similarity when watching the recent Philippines' Department of Health campaign video, noticeably similar to that of f(x)'s "Rum Pum Pum Pum". The catastrophic public service campaign has attracted widespread attention and critique, and now SM Entertainment has stepped up to announce that they had already taken steps against the Dept. of Health for plagiarizing their artists' work.

A representative made the official announcement on December 8th saying, "By no means have we permitted the use of the music, 'Rum Pum Pum Pum.'  The original publisher of 'Rum Pum Pum Pum' confirmed that the music used by the Philippines' public service campaign in question is indeed plagiarism, so we already started taking action."

Netizens are not only furious at the attempt at plagiarism, but also are stating that the dialogue used in the anti-teen pregnancy campaign was inappropriate, which only added fuel to the fire.
