SM's founder Lee Soo Man & GFRIEND are to appear in BBC documentary

SM Entertainment's founder and general producer, Lee Soo Man, has been interviewed about K-pop for BBC's documentary. GFRIEND was also interviewed by the British broadcasting channel and participated in talking about K-pop. As K-pop idols, they group spoke openly about the advantages of music shows and their practices.
On July 8,BBC met with Lee Soo Man to gather information about K-pop, where the general producer and founder shared heartfelt stories about K-pop. The Britist broadcasting channel centered Lee Soo Man as an massive influencer of K-pop, the music genre that has been changing the music industry.
He talked about the new music styles he has done with his famous SM artists, including H.O.T., BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, Red Velvet, EXO, f(x), NCT, and the list goes on. With these unique types of music styles, he has won many producer awards in Korea, but China and the U.S as well. He has also been voted to be a "global leader" by many reputable and honorable magazines for many consecutive years.
In the interview, Lee Soo Man talked about the accomplishments, the developments, and the direction of K-pop with the creation of the "K-pop storm." This "K-pop storm" has been changing music industries all over the world, having Korean pop music invade into overseas markets.
In the documentary, Producer Martyn Stevens shared, "I have met the general producer Lee Soo Man - who plays the most important role in the birth and development of K-pop. To be able to conduct an interview with him is very meaningful. Without a doubt, general producer Lee Soo Man's understanding ability will probably provide an interesting view to TV audiences in England."
This documentary is said to be released in the second half of 2019.
