So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, and Hwang Jung Min Confirmed to Star in Movie ‘Battleship’

So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, and Hwang Jung Min have been confirmed to star in the upcoming South Korean movie Battleship. The production company of the film stated on January 15, “‘Battleship’ is based on the Japanese colonial era where 400 Joseon people try to escape a battleship to which they were forced to board. This film is directed by director Ryu Seung Wan, who also directed “Veteran.”
Hwang Jung Min will play the role of Lee Kang Ok, who was scammed into boarding the battleship thinking that he is going to Japan. So Ji Sub will play the role of Choi Chil Sung, who brought peace to the whole Jongno area with his fighting skills. Song Joong Ki will play the role of Park Moo Young, who boards the battleship to rescue the people participating in the independence movement.
So Ji Sub is a South Korean actor. After making his entertainment debut as a jeans model, he became best known for his leading roles in the television series I'm Sorry, I Love You, Cain and Abel, Phantom , Master's Sun and Oh My Venus , as well as the film Rough Cut. So has also released several hip-hop EPs.
Song Joong Ki is a South Korean actor. He rose to fame with period drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal and variety show Running Man. Song played his first TV leading role in the melodrama The Innocent Man in 2012. He has also starred in feature films, notably as the titular character in the box office hit A Werewolf Boy.
Hwang Jung Min is a South Korean actor. Hwang Jung-min began his career in musical theatre, making his acting debut in Line 1 in 1995. He then starred in various musicals and plays in Daehangno such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Cats.
