Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur scored a double in a home match against Huddersfield in London on Saturday to bring his tally to 10 for the season in the English Premier League. Son scored 27 and 54 minutes into the game to give the team a comfortable 2-0 win. These were his ninth and 10th league goals, and 14th and 15th in all European competitions for the season.
Just last Wednesday, he netted two goals in his team's 6-1 demolition of Rochdale in an FA Cup match. Son scored 14 goals in the EPL and 21 in total last season, setting new records for a Korean player in a European league.
Meanwhile, Ki Sung-yueng of Swansea City contributed to his team's 4-1 victory over West Ham with one goal and an assist. Ki has a record of two goals and two assists in his last four matches. Rumors are swirling of a possible move to Italy's AC Milan for Ki.
Italian football news outlet Calcio reported on Sunday that Ki is set to join AC Milan next season. Ki has a relationship with AC Milan via its sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli, who was in charge of scouting for Sunderland when Ki played for the team on loan in 2013-14.
