South Korea To Play Oman in 2015 Asian Cup Match

Korea will square off against Oman in its first group stage match in the 2015 Asian Cup on Saturday. This is the first step towards the nation's first Asian Cup title in 55 years.  Korea placed 69th in FIFA rankings ahead of Oman, who is ranked 93rd.

With key players injured, Oman doesn't appear to be much of a challenge for Korea. But, it did show some offensive power after going undefeated in the Asian Cup qualifier, winning four matches and drawing twice with a total of seven goals.

With Ki Sung-yueng leading the way as team captain and Lee Chung-yong as vice-captain, Korea looks like a serious contender for the Asian Cup title.
