South Korea Wins 4 Medals in Judo at the Asian Games on Opening of Competition

Korea won four medals in four weight divisions on the first day of the judo competition at the Asian Games in Indonesia on Wednesday. The Korean judoka got off to a good start, winning two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal.
Jeong Bo-kyeong captured the women's under-48 kg title, defeating Japan's Ami Kondo, while An Ba-ul, ranked No. 7 in the world, beat Joshiro Maruyama of Japan in the men's under-66 kg final to add gold for Korea. Both were Olympic silver medalists at Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Park Da-sol grabbed a silver medal in the women's under-52 kg, losing to Natsumi Tsunoda of Japan in the final. Lee Ha-rim won a bronze medal against Shang Yi of China in the men's under-60 kg event.
