South Korean Figure Skaters Finish Season Mediocre

Just as the rhythmic gymnastics season was kicking off, the 2014-2015 figure skating season drew to a close with the conclusion of the World Figure Skating Championships in Shanghai. For the Korean skaters, it was a season of ups and downs. Park So-youn finished 12th overall in the world championships with a final score of 160.75, while Kim Hae-jin ended the season in 19th place with 136.24 points.
Both skaters improved from last year's world championships, but still don't seem capable of competing with the world's best, let alone becoming the "new Kim Yu-na." But at the tender age of 17, there's still time for both to improve enough to wow the home crowd at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
