Striker Ji So-yun of the Chelsea Ladies helped bring the club their first FA Cup title. She scored the only goal of the game in the FA Cup final against Notts County Ladies at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. Ji received a pass from Eniola Aluko in front of the goal and went past two defenders and the goalkeeper to score the winner in the 37th minute.

Saturday's match drew more than 30,000 people, the largest crowd since 1971. The Independent praised Ji, referring to her as the "Korean Messi" who "lifts Blues in front of record crowd." Meanwhile, Ji has kept her eye on the East Asian Cup, which is being held in Wuhan, China, even though she was not able to participate since it fell outside the international match calendar endorsed by FIFA. "My happiness is doubled as Korea beat China in the first match of the East Asian Cup," she said. Korea beat China 1-0 at a match on Saturday.
