South Korean Park Sung Hyun still Ranks #1 in Women’s’ Golf

Park Sung-hyun remained at the top of the latest world rankings in women's golf for the fifth consecutive week, despite missing the cut at the Evian Championship in France.
The event last week was the final major competition of the season on the LPGA Tour.
Kim Sei-young, runner-up at the Evian Championship, soared to 13th place in the rankings released on Tuesday.
Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand ranked second with 7.86 points, moving closer to Park's 8.09 points. Park In-bee, who had a top 10 finish at the Evian Championship, climbed to third place, and Ryu So-yeon fell one notch to fourth place.
Angela Stanford of the U.S., who lifted her first career major trophy at the Evian Championship after 18 years on the Tour, climbed 46 places to No. 30.
