Sixteen year old golf starlet Lydia Ko, a Korean New Zealander, moved to number 4 on the professional women’s golf rankings. Ms. Ko has maintained the top amateur spot since April 2011. She won her second CN Canadian Open last month, making her the first amateur to win two US LPGA Tour events.
Korea’s Park In Bee holds her position as the number one place. She has held that position for the past 24 weeks. Other Korean golfers include Ryu So Yeon moved to fifth, and Choi Na Yeon moved to number six.
