Super Junior’s Shindong to Enlist in the Military on March 24

Super Junior member Shindong has announced that he will be enlisting into his mandatory military enlistment  on March 24.  He will begin his military service quietly, without having his fellow group members send him off.

On March 23, a representative of Super Junior’s agency, SM Entertainment, shared with Star News, “Shindong is enlisting on March 24. He plans to enter quietly without holding any special meetings or interviews with the press. He has personally expressed his desire to enlist quietly.”

The rep continued to explain, “Shindong and the Super Junior members have already made time separately to say their goodbyes. They will not be accompanying Shindong to the location.”  This coming March 24, Shindong is scheduled to enter his service at a recruit training battalion located in Incheon.  Fellow group member Sungmin will be enlisting on March 31 in Bucheon.

Shin Dong Hee, better known by his stage name Shindong (lit. meaning: "prodigy"), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is best known as a member of the K-pop boy band Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H.
