Queen's all banded together last year in order to fundraise a campaign to create a forest dedicated to T-ara in celebration of the group's firth anniversary, and the nature spot is now open to visitors!
International fans from South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia all teamed up to name the trees after each of the individual six T-ara members. The "T-ara" forest is full of Chinese fringetrees, spindle trees, boxwood trees, and azaleas which provide an excellent resting spot for pedestrians in Seoul.
As was previously reported, T-ara's domestic fanclub site "t-arafan.com" and their international sister fansites "Diadem", "TARA6JAPAN", "T-ARACHINA", and "T-ARAHK" all grouped together in order to partake in the "TREE PLANET's "Star Forest Project". Two hundred and fifty fans came out to contribute to the fundraiser and raised approximately 9 million Korean Won (or approx. $8,800 USD).
