It looks like netizens are extremely angry in regards of the most recent news of Big Bang member Taeyang, who had allegedly posted something that was very racially offensive on his Instagram account. It starts off innocently enough, with Taeyang saying Happy Lunar New Years to his fans, then it takes a turn for the worst after Taeyang uses an app that lets you wear the face of anyone you want!

Taeyang turned himself into Kanye West and wished his fans a “happy monkey new year!”, which did not sit well with fans at all. Many have even gone so far as to state that Taeyang was making a jab at Kanye West. After all of the backlash that ensued, Taeyang immediately deleted his post and posted up a new one, this time an apology for his insensitivity and lack of awareness.

It looks like it may be too late however, as with anything that is posted on the internet, many have already saved the video clip from Taeyang’s Instagram and are now circulating it all over the internet. Hopefully this issue dies down before it gets any bigger than this.

Dong Young-bae (born 18 May 1988), better known by his stage name Taeyang (meaning Sun) or Sol, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. After appearing in Jinusean's music video "A-yo", Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12. After six years of training, he made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang.
