And the drama continues for Tasty and Woollim Entertainment! According to legal sources, on September 14th, real-life twin duo Tasty, comprised of brothers Soryong and Daeryong, have officially filed a lawsuit against their label Woollim Entertainment's parent company SM C&C on the grounds of the invalidity of their exclusive contract.
The pair first announced their decision to no longer promote in Korea back in July. Although the first court date hasn't be set yet, Shinwon Law Firm is said to be representing Tasty in their current lawsuit, while Woollim has disclosed to Star News that they are in the midst of preparing a countersuit with their own lawyers.
Tensions arose between the label and the singing duo when the twins first decided to leave Korea. Since then, Tasty and Woollim have exchanged contradictory statements regarding the matter, further fueling the growing tension between the two. Following the controversy, Tasty confirmed the release of their first Chinese single, prompting Woollim Entertainment to officially take legal action.
