KBS has recently launched a new show which features real life siblings in the Korean entertainment industry. On the February 8’s episode of “We Are Siblings,” actress Gong Seung Yeon and her sister Jungyeon of TWICE bond by visiting a haunted house together.
Jungyeon has to convince her sister to enter the house with her, and when they both hesitate by the door, Gong Seung Yeon laughs and pushes Jungyeon inside first. The pair cling to each other within the entrance, and are already screaming within a few seconds as someone jumps out at them. When another actor surprises them, Jungyeon yells at him, “Don’t do that!”
Gong Seung Yeon gets more and more scared as they walk through, and keeps clinging to Jungyeon as her younger sister takes the lead. The two sisters eventually are chased out of the house by one of the actors, and they laugh once they reach the exit.
Gong Seung Yeon, born Yoo Seung Yeon, is a South Korean actress. She first trained as a singer under SM Entertainment after winning the "Best Looks" portion of the SM Youth Best Contest. Shortly after making her entertainment debut in a commercial for feminine hygiene product White in 2012, Gong began appearing in small roles in television dramas. In 2015, the relative newcomer drew mainstream notice when she joined the fourth season of the Korean reality show We Got Married, where she was paired with singer-actor Lee Jong-hyun.
Yoo Jeong-yeon was born on November 1, 1996 in Suwon, South Korea. She is the younger sister of actress Gong Seung-yeon. She joined the company after passing the JYP Entertainment's 6th Open Audition on March 1, 2010. Like Nayeon and Jihyo, she was originally set to debut in a group called 6mix. In 2014, she appeared with Nayeon in the music of Got7's "Girls Girls Girls" and in 2015, appeared in the music video of miss A's "Only You" with other Twice members.
