Wendy of Red Velvet talked about her experience with fad diets

Wendy of Red Velvet talked about her experience with fad diets and why she no longer bothers with them on JTBC’s talk show “Non Summit” on Monday. “I have tried all the popular diet regimens,” she said. The regimens she had followed include the lemon detox diet, the ‘witch soup’ diet, water diet and cabbage diet. 

She also tried ‘the deadly 13 day diet’ plan in which she ate a half bowl of rice and a half apple, ran 40 laps around the track, jumped 3,000 ropes and did 40 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of stretching, per day. 

After such harsh diets, she has reached a conclusion that it is better to do what you want to do, eat what you want to eat and go where you want to go. 

“I think people look pretty when they have confidence rather than when they are obsessed with losing weight,” Wendy said.
