JYP’s monster rookie group TWICE has been not only sweeping music charts, but also raking in one CF gig after another! According to an advertising agency, the girl group’s market price has risen to a whopping 300,000,000 won (an estimated $250,000 USD), despite having only debuted four months ago.
To put this into perspective, popular girl group AOA, who has three more years of experience under their belt, is worth about 350,000,000 won (an approximate $280,000 USD) for a six month contract, and 550,000,000 won (an estimated $445,000 USD) for a year’s contract.
Currently, TWICE has 12 scheduled advertisement deals lined up, including LG U+, KB Kookmin Card, School Looks, Nexon, and NBA.
An advertising representative stated, “TWICE is currently the most sought-after models for commercials. Even though the Chinese market is a little difficult because of Tzuyu’s controversy, there is still a high potential for further commercial deals with the group. The nine members each have their own individual color and appeal. As they’re able to adapt to various different projects, their market price is sure to go up.”
