Which Korean Entertainers Spend the Most On Their Families?

Many different stars were named and interviews for tvN’s program ‘The List’, which ranked the many Korean celebrities who have taken measures to take care of their parents after they made their debut. Some big names like G-Dragon, Girls’ Day’s Hyeri, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, and Seo In Guk were all considered for the program.
Seo In Guk took the number one spot as having taken care of his family the most, as his mother commented that the actor had traveled out to Seoul by himself to chase his dreams of becoming an actor. After winning ‘Superstar K’, Seo In Guk used the award prize money in order to open a café for his mother in Woolsan.
In second place was singer Suzy Bae, who had raised ten million USD by starring in an advertisement, as well as setting up a café for her mother and a Tae Kwon Do studio for her father. She also provided them with a luxurious home in Gwangju, and a luxury car as well.
Big Bang’s G-Dragon came in at third, as he used his money to take his family traveling, and giving them a gift of ten million USD. In fourth place was Girls’ Day’s Hyeri, who gave her parents a nice home and a luxury car. Jo Kwon and Junsu came in at fifth and sixth place. Junsu gave his parents a beautiful villa, as well as a hotel in Jeju Island. Jo Kwon also gave his family a nice house and car.
Coming in at 7th place was Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon. Taeyeon gave her parents a pre-paid transporation card to be used whenever they travel overseas, as well as an apartment. Hyoyeon provided her parents with a penthouse to live in.
Last but not least, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun made it to the eighth place spot as he gave his parents an apartment building, a new car, and also gave them a guest house as well.
