Why Isn’t I.O.I Unable to Make Appearances on Major Music Programs

K pop girl group I.O.I will not be making an appearance on this week’s Music Bank on broadcaster KBS. On the recently released 'Music Bank' artist list for the upcoming recording on May 13, IOI's name is nowhere to be found. However, other artists such as Girls' Generation's Tiffany and INFINITE's Woohyun, who have released albums around the same period as IOI, are scheduled to appear.
IOI continue to struggle to make appearances on major broadcasting networks. While the girls have managed to join various variety show. IOI were completely left out on 'Inkigayo's voting system on May 10, which is now stirring up the controversy even more.
I.O.I is a South Korean girl group formed by CJ E&M through the 2016 reality show Produce 101 on Mnet. The group is composed of eleven members chosen from a pool of 101 trainees from various entertainment companies. They debuted on May 4, 2016 with a mini-album, and are expected to actively promote four albums, either as a whole or as sub-units, over the next 10 months.
