It seems that the group WINNER really has their fans in mind as they have just announced that during their very first solo concerts on March 12th and 13th, they will be performing the title track for their upcoming album! The title song has never been heard before, and WINNER wished to perform it for their fans to make up for their sudden cease in promotions.
The actual performance for the track hasn’t been prepared yet, with absolutely no choreography or rehearsals to take reference from. It seems that WINNER is determined to provide this fan service however, and will still be going ahead and performing the track anyways. It’s said that it was a slight struggle to get permission from Yang Hyun Suk to give this special performance. WINNER personally messaged the CEO of their agency explaining their wish and the reasons why they wanted to perform the song. It seems that the fans have lucked out as Yang Hyun Suk has clearly given the group the go ahead!
Winner (stylized as WINNER) is a South Korean idol group formed in 2014 by YG Entertainment. The group's five members are Kang Seung-yoon, Song Mino, Lee Seunghoon. Kim Jin Woo and Nam Tae Hyun. The group was first introduced in the reality survival program called "Who is Next: WIN" as "Team A." Team A and their adversaries Team B (now known as iKON) were both formed from trainees within YG Entertainment. The teams competed against each other in order to debut as the first YG boy K-Pop group in eight years, after Big Bang. At the conclusion of the program the title of "WINNER" was given to Team A after they won all three rounds of public voting.
