A U.S. rap duo has shot their hip hop music video in the secretive communist state of North Korea.  Hip-hop artists Pacman, age 20 and Peso, age 21 visited North Korea last year November with the hopes of becoming famous by shooting their music video there.  The rappers are from Washington DC.

The initial campaign was launched on the crowdfunding platform www.kickstarter.com.  They successfully reached their initial goal of raising $10,000 for the trip and production costs.

The video hosted on youtube, is titled “Escape to North Korea.”  The two minute video shows regular life in North Korea.  Showing scenes like streets, subways, buses, soldiers, and elevators.  The duo shot the video by themselves, and without the consent of the North Korean government.
