Yezi to come back with solo single

Korean rapper and singer Yezi will make a comeback on May 24 with her solo single. According to her agency Fave Entertainment, Yezi will unveil her new single “Anck Su Namun” on various music websites at 6 p.m. next Wednesday and launch a tour. It has been 8 months since she released the previous single “Chase.” 



Yezi, whose real name is Lee Ye-ji, debuted as a member of Korean girl group Fiestar in 2012. She was a semi-finalist on “Unpretty Rapstar 2” in 2015, during which she released several singles. Her solo debut single “Foresight Dream” was released on Jan. 28, 2016.

Fiestar’s official Twitter account showed teaser photos of Yezi’s upcoming digital album. 

The name “Anck Su Namun” is the name of the Egyptian queen in the “The Mummy” films.
