YG entertainment has donated W100 million towards Nepal earthquake victims. YG Entertainment donated a total of 100 million KRW (~$92,450 USD) to the Korean Committee for UNICEF with the message, “Please use [the donation] to help in recovering the damage from the huge earthquake in Nepal, as well as the victims that are suffering from the aftermath.”
YG Entertainment has always opened up a ‘YG WITH’ campaign booth whenever one of its artists held a concert. Through the ‘Good Way with Us’ project, the agency has continued to raise funds to help Nepal over the years.
The donations that were raised through G-Dragon’s concert in 2013, as well as 2NE1 and YG Family concerts in 2014 were all used to build a school in Nepal, as well as provide computers, training aids, and school supplies.
