Zimbabwe has just commissioned North Korea with a US $5 million project to erect two giant statues of Dictator Robert Mugabe.
The larger of the statues is set to erect in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare, and will cost $3.5 million. The smaller statue will run Zimbabwe $1.5 million. Mansudae Art Studio in North Korea is assigned to these tasks, and was commissioned to complete the project before Mugabe’s 90th birthday.
North Korea has seen a decent amount of money from constructing monumental statuary cheaper than anyone else for 3rd world countries, and will continue to do so.
